Yes, the RCI Points program automatically rolls a member’s unused points over into the next two use years, at no cost, if the member demonstrated some use activity in their points account during the year. Otherwise the unused points can be rolled over (saved) upon payment of the appropriate fee which is currently $50.00. In other point based programs in addition to using the member’s external exchange option to save points up to 2 years in the future by depositing them in the exchange system some point based programs provide for the ability to bank (save) points for future Use Years. In proprietary developer based programs this feature is known by different names and has differing rules for saving and use in the various programs. The feature is sometimes called banking or in the Fairshare Plus program it is called making a deposit in the “Points Credit Pool” and the member’s points must be deposited prior to their Use Year Start Date.
