Can Randy Moss who currently has 139 career touchdowns can break Jerry Rices record of 197?
If Randy decides to play 20 season like Rice, then of course he will reach the 200 TD barrier, but if he retires in lets about 4 or 5 more seasons, than measn he has to average more than 10 TDs a season, and Moss can do that, he does hold the record for most TDs in a season, if he sticks with Tom Brady he will reach Jerrys record
I think its up to him whether or not he breaks the record….the thing with Randy is he is so physically gifted..he has a LOT of talent to burn…I mean for God’s sake he is 32 and he still runs a 4.3…I heard him say in an interview that when he loses passion for the game, that’s when he’ll retire…my guess is as long as he keeps winning, he will continue to play…but on the other hand…I also heard him say that he is not concerned with records and unlike Jerry Rice I dont think he will stay in the league for eternity so he can hog every single record…so basically CAN he break the record: definitely yes WILL he break the record: maybe just a matter of staying injury free and playing for another 5 or 6 years
