Can PV*SOL calculate systems with tracking?

0

Yes. In the Technical Data dialogue, under PV Array > Orientation, you can select between single and dual axis tracking. With single axis tracking, an azimuth of -90 to 90 (i.e. for the northern hemisphere: from east to west) is allowed for with a vertical rotation axis. Dual axis tracking calculates the situation with movement of both rotation axes. In both cases, the technical limits of the tracking system are not observed. This means that if the tracking system can only be rotated up to a certain angle, this is not taken into consideration by the software.
