Can pupils with special needs receive any additional help or time?

Paper-based test: Please allow pupils the same help that, in your professional opinion, they would be allowed in external examination, i.e. proportionally more time, a reader, cctv, sign language, etc. It may be necessary to administer the tests for pupils with special educational needs in a room separate from the main testing session. However, please do not elaborate further on the instructions given. For purposes of standardisation of administration, it is important that no pupils are given any extra information. Computer Adaptive Test: Largely as with the paper-based test above, but the co-ordinator guide gives information about how to access a version of the test with 25% extra time included.
