Can Puncturesafe be used in tyres with tubes?

0

YES. Puncturesafe will seal punctures in both tyres with or without tubes as long as it is not a dangerous puncture, and the tyre condition is such that rubber recovery can occur. In order to ensure that rubber recovery can occur, and therefore that Puncturesafe will work correctly, it is important that the tube has a sufficient amount of natural rubber. This is critical to ensure a positive secure seal. If the object causing the puncture squirms whilst the vehicle is moving at higher speeds, it is then possible that it can rip the tube, so even Puncturesafe may, in this instance, be unable to seal the puncture. Any object should be removed (if, for any reason, Puncturesafe has been unable to eject it), to avoid this damaging “squirming” action.
