Can ps2 games be played on ps3 without problems?
It truly boggles my mind that Sony has to make things complicated with the ps3 as far as ps2 compatability is concerned. Most ps3 models don’t have backwards compatability with ps2 games. There were only a few models made that had backwards compatability. In fact, sadly, there are no ps3 models that have ps2 compatability currently in production. So most likely, if you want a ps3 with ps2 compatability, you’re going to have to buy it from Gamestop or any other used video games stores.
