The Department of English hosts an Open House each year solely for prospective students who have already been admitted to the PhD program. If other prospective students have questions about the program, they should e-mail William Weaver, the Department Coordinator, at wweaver@uchicago.edu, or Sid Branca Cook, the Graduate Program Assistant, at sbcook@uchicago.edu. The Office of College Admissions also offers daily tours of the campus. From March to November, campus tours are offered daily (Monday through Friday) at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. From December through February, tours are only offered at 10:30 a.m. Although reservations are not necessary, it is advised that you call ahead to ensure that a tour is scheduled for that day. More information regarding tours can be found here.
