Can proposals include software purchases as part the computer system?
A. Windows is allowable as an operating system to the computer. Also, you can get the standard Lotus Notes, Netscape and such that the university has the licenses for. But programs such as MS Office must have a license purchased as the Gateways are not bundled that way anymore. Any special software package that you will need to complete the project can be put in the proposal under supplies, to be purchased separately.
