Can products be used on ethnic hair? Are the results the same?
A. Yes. Many have found that the Smooth and Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner system works best for ethnic hair types. However, if the hair has been relaxed, we suggest using the Smooth and Hydrate shampoo and the Strength and Rejuvenate conditioner. Q. Can I use Moéa® products when using relaxers? A. Yes. Our products are pH balanced to be gentle and effective cleansers and conditioners. The natural oils in Moéa products also help level out the porosity in the hair for a more even, stabilized application. Q. Does the Finishing Spray have alcohol in it? A. Yes, it does contain a very small amount of alcohol—much less than most aerosol hairsprays, in fact. Alcohol is an important ingredient for the high-function performance of Moéa Finishing Spray. However, we formulated the Finishing Spray to use the minimum amount necessary and only use a pure, grain-source alcohol. Our level is significantly lower than most hairsprays on the market. Q.
