pranking your friends is one thing… but if you prank a business you could be causing them financial harm, by preventing a legitimate customer from being able to get thru to them, so there is that aspect… especially if you make fake orders of pizza, or whatever… calling toll free numbers are never private… you can not just *67 to hide your number from 800 866 877 888 numbers, since they use ANI to identify your telephone number (the same as 911 does) so there is no private calls to toll free numbers…
