Can powerfull speakers blow out bondo work?
Just a dumb question, but I am curious. I’m not talking about the chicken wire / newspaper bondo type repairs, but a solid metal foundation with a “typical” 1/8″ or more bondo layer properly prepared and finished. Ironically, I’ve seen these guy use bondo to smooth out fibrglass speaker boxes, so maybe it does hold up. Maybe it’s a function of the watts in your amp too though.
