Can PocketScript prescriptions be sent to all of my pharmacies?
When your system is prepared, all pharmacies in your geographic area are loaded into the database. Depending on where your office is located, this can be as few as ten pharmacies or as many as 1,000 pharmacies. Most are loaded with fax numbers that will enable you to transmit electronic prescriptions from PocektScript. Occasionally, we are not able to obtain fax information for pharmacies. These pharmacies will be set to “Print Only”. You will be able to write prescriptions for these pharmacies with PocketScript, but they will have to be printed, signed, and given to the patient. You are encouraged to add new pharmacies or edit existing pharmacy records as necessary. If you need assistance with this, please contact PocketScript Support.
