Can Pocket Dictate or Palm Dictate run on a Blackberry?
No. Blackberries do not support sound recording. In fact Blackberries are really duds. They are a classic example of marketing over technology. From a functional point of view they deserve to be in the era of the Commodore 64 or Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Support of sound was better on the Commodore (as for just about everything else). The portable Z88 released in 1988 was better than a Blackberry. When we asked our development team to look at developing for Blackberries and they came back with the answer: Blackberries are Lemons. Throw them away and get a real PDA based on Pocket PC or Palm OS.
