Can Piersons Puppeteers get foot-n-mouth disease?
In theory – “yes” – they are cloven hoofed creatures, if they aren’t susceptible to the disease they would almost certainly be carriers. In practice though – definately “no” – any sane Puppeteer would have made sure to vaccinate himself against any native diseases before visiting a strange planet. I’m sure that if such a disease existed on the Puppeteer homeworld, it would have been eradicated millennia ago.
