Can pickups be made stereo?

If you have a single coil pickup some fancy modifications would have to be done using a tapped pickup. The first tap can go to one amp and the final output can go to another amp and output will have two different frequencies simulating a slight stereo effect. To have a real stereo sounding pickup, you could have one string in the left channel and the next string in the right channel and so on. This is best done using to separate coils and staggering the poles in each bobbin to use either left or right channels or amplifiers. A humbucker using 4 conductor can be wired so you put one bobbin in the left channel or amp and the other bobbin in the right channel or amp. If you remove every other pole in one bobbin, and the same in the second bobbin starting at the A pole the pickup will be Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right as you pluck the strings. If you contact me, I can send you a diagram on how to do it.
