Can physicians use lasers to remove stretch marks?

Laser treatments do not ‘remove’ stretch marks. Quite simply, lasers are used to help thicken the overlying skin of stretch mark tissue in an attempt to hide them. Unlike TriLASTIN-SR, laser treatments do not address the principle causes of stretch mark scarring. Although physicians are constantly experimenting with various laser treatments, there are currently no laser or light-based therapies that are FDA-cleared to eliminate stretch marks.
