PG&E customers can elect to participate in any one of several Demand-Response programs, including Critical Peak Pricing (CPP), Demand Bidding, the Business Energy Coalition (BEC) or SF Power’s Demand-Response program. Energy users with less than 200 kW of demand can only receive a free interval meter under SF Power’s program or under the Demand Bidding Program, which requires the customer to have at least one facility with greater than 200 kW of demand.
