Can person with borderline personality disorder become a serial killer?

Serial killers are a very diverse group. But, I thought it would be interesting to run some BRACE Character Profile correlations of some serial killers with the profile of a prototypical Borderline Personality Disorder. First, it is important to note that, based on the BRACE Character Profile, the DSM-IV-TR Borderline Personality Disorder is positively correlated with Histrionic Personality Disorder (r = +0.49), Aspergers Disorder (r = +0.37), Schizoid Personality Disorder (r = +0.26), Avoidant Personality Disorder (r = +0.22), and Dependent Personality Disorder (r = +0.19). But, it is the significant negative correlations that are most important related to your question.
