Can people with a concealed weapons permit carry a firearm on campus?

I go to school in Southern California and was wondering if people with a concealed weapon permit can carry a gun (or other concealed weapon) on campus. I’m not even from Cali and don’t have a permit but was wondering if other students at my school would be allowed to carry a gun on campus. PS my campus is private not public.
