Can people outside my organization be included in the approval and review processes?
Yes. This is a powerful capability of Expedite. This is done simply using email addresses. When a user is configured as a remote approver, they will receive an email with a copy of the actual file in question attached. They just need to click on the supplied links to approve, approve with a comment, or disapprove the change. The email is sent back to the Expedite system and is automatically processed as if they were a local member of your team. This is extremely handy when you want to include outside consultants, legal counsel, vendor, customers, etc. in your processes. Since this is accomplished through email, no security holes are required, no additional logon IDs or passwords need to be maintained for these people. They just need an email address.
