Can paypal be used as a form of payment for Half.com?
I had this same problem because I wanted to get my school books on half.com also. I figured I could because I have Paypal and have ordered items from ebay.com where the money was taken out of my checking account. Anyway from the half.com website under the “how to become a buyer” help section they say that basically they just need credit card information because half.com charges the credit card. It’s basically how they run the website I guess. Also in the “textbook” help section it says “Please keep in mind that students usually place their orders close to the start of classes so it is very important to ship the order within 72 hours per our policy.” So with a credit card this way an immediate payment (I believe) can be made and textbooks can be shipped quickly. If you have a checking account and get a debit card I believe you can list your debit card as a credit card and buy items from half.com, im not exactly sure about this as I have not tried because I don’t have a debit card.
