Can passion and fidelity co-exist in a committed relationship?
Claire and Philip have been married for twenty-five years in a supportive, comfortable union. When Richard, Claire’s younger co-worker, begins a flirtation of questionable intention, Claire and Philip are forced to reevaluate their ideas of fidelity and the desires of attraction. Discretion gives us a voyeuristic look at the societal conventions of marriage and the needs of its members. Presented by the award-winning PURE Theater and in the skilled hands of Main Street Theatre and Pamela Nichols Galle, Discretion is an exciting, thought-provoking addition to Piccolo Spoleto’s 2010 Theatre Series.
