Can Papillons live together with other pets?
Papillons normally fit in quite well in households with other pets providing the owners supervise playtime, especially other large breeds of dogs. Homes with much larger dogs have to consider problems that can happen when a small and large dog play hard together. There have been many accidents where a Papillon has received serious injuries caused by other breeds of dogs. Most reputable breeder take great caution placing their Paps in homes. Many breeders will not sell a Papillon to a home that already has a large or potentially aggressive pet.
