Certain fruits help with acid reflux because of enzymes that aid digestion. Papaya or pineapple are the most common. Papaya contains papain, an enyme that digests protein, thereby helping digestion, and pineapple contains bromelain, an enzyme that both aides digestion and reduces inflammation.
