Can our wrestling coach teach a physical education class, with student-athletes participating, during a rest period?
If the physical education class follows the guidelines of VI-F-4 in the Ivy Manual and does not count as athletically related activity, then it is permissible. Please note that if the class does not meet the criteria set forth in that Bylaw — and therefore is considered countable athletically related activity — then it is not permissible during a rest period.
