Yes and No. You may or may not be able to see Workgroups, Printers in the Windows Network Neighborhood. Mediaone service I could see some Workgroups, PC’s and Printers on my segment, but ports 137-139 are blocked from the outside world. In most cases, it’s best if you disable any Microsoft File and Print Sharing, and make sure you use good password protection to keep things secure.
