Can other architectures fit the definitions provided by RAGS?

Yes. Although we started from the assumption that the pipeline architecture is the foundation of the RAGS architecture, we have since moved away from this assumption. We now assume that the data model is the foundation of the RAGS architecture, and the pipeline is simply one possible instantiation of the data model. We intend to discuss how (at least) revision architectures and template-based systems fit our model in the future.
