Can original games work on a modified wii with a mod chip?
Yes, you can play original games on a modified Wii. (hard and soft modded Wii’s, a mod chip is a “hard mod” Soft mod is done through programs without the need to open the Wii and void the warrenty) My Wii is soft modded but I bought Monster Hunter Tri, since my wii is hacked, it’s not fully updated,(it can be, but I haven’t gotten around to it) so I couldn’t use my original disk loader channel, and used a custom loader instead (neo gamma) and it works great, and yes burned games do work online, they have no block against it. If using a custom disk loading channel isn’t your thing, there is a program you can install (brick blocker I believe it is ) that lets you use your normal loader.
