Can orange juice cause throat infections ?

0

No, orange juice cannot cause such an infection any more than any other food or drink. Throat infections are caused by bacteria or viruses. Neither will survive in properly prepared and stored orange juice. It could irritate your throat if it’s already sore, I suppose, but it is far more likely that your previous throat infection has come back or that you simply have a new one. The orange juice drinking is just a co-incidence. If you were allergic enough to orange juice for your throat to react in that way you would have other symptoms of allergy as well.
