Can open textbooks be printed rather than read online?
Many open textbook resources have a print-on-demand option that allows users to easily print out the textbook or order a bound copy. The cost of printing a bound copy is normally somewhere around $25 or $30, which is still signicantly cheaper than most traditional textbooks. Not all open textbooks have a print option. If you feel a print option is important for your course, make sure you use one of the resources that provides that option.
