Can one person carry a Hugging Mattress?
This is another significant benefit that is unavailable in a conventional mattress. The Hugging Mattress provides a solution to maneuvering a normally cumbersome mattress, slightly over half the weight of the mattress is actually carried on one’s shoulder. At the 2004 ISPA EXPO in Indianapolis, a 5′ 6″, 145-pound person was able to carry a 15″ thick, king-size hugging mattress up and down most of the Indi 2004 EXPO trade show aisles for more than 20 minutes. Any consumer, store employee, or delivery person can easily handle any size Hugging Mattress by his or herself. Upstairs, through doorways…not a problem. This can be a big advantage if only one person in the showroom or one delivery person is available.
