The only scheduled downtime is Sunday at 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (noon). This policy has been in place for over five years. The unexpected outages are posted on our web site (http://www.odu.edu.occs), and if the outage is campus-wide, OCCS sends out an e-mail to faculty and staff. Academic Television Services controls the TV monitors and their content, but OCCS is working with the Office of Distance Learning to aid in “getting the word out” to TTN students when unexpected outages occur.
