Can nuetering help with toilet training my 2 year old dog?
It may not be toilet training but Marking training you are working with. Neutering him may lower the desire to mark as often, but he already has a pretty big habit that may not be affected by neutering. SO, get him neutered and train him. Closely supervise when he is in the house, either crate him or leash him to you so every time he attempts to mark, redirect him. Do not leave him alone in the house unsupervised! You need to do this until he develops another habit of NOT marking in the house – maybe 2 weeks. Be sure he is well exercised and has plenty of interactive dog toys and puzzles to keep him busy. Take him outside on walks so he can mark lots of stuff outside.
