No, random people can’t just come to Canada for free health care. A provincial health card is required as identification at doctor’s offices and hospitals. Canadians pay taxes for their health care, so it’s really not “free”. No, dental is not covered by Canadian healthcare, although many people get it covered in benefits through their jobs.
