Can Nokia N77 tv feature be used without subscribing to smart tv?
The Nokia N77 device has an integrated Digital Video Broadcast Handheld (DVB-H) receiver feature, which enables it to receive digital TV broadcast. With Mobile TV application you can watch and listen to digital TV programs (network service). You may have to subscribe to channels or programs before you can watch them. A channel package is a set of channels that you can subscribe to as one package. To subscribe to an item: 1. Open Mobile TV from the key on the side of the device and select Options > Subscriptions > New subscription. 2. Select from a list of unsubscribed items: Channel pckgs., Channels, or Programmes. 3. Select Options > Subscribe. 4. Select the length of the subscription. 5. To accept the subscription, select Verify. A note is displayed when you can start watching the channel or program. You cannot subscribe without a SIM card or when the offline profile is activated. If you change SIM cards, you must re-subscribe to channels and programs.
