Can nipples and areolas enlarge if not pregnant?
Yes. Your areolas will change over your lifetime. Most women as young girls have teensy lil areolas. Those who end up with larger ones will have had change somewhere along the line. Now could you be pregnant? Yes. That’s a REAL possibility. Tests are certainly known to give false positives AND false negatives. And I HATE to tell you that, since it’s going to increase your uncertainty, but it cannot be discounted. That may be why yours are enlarging. BUT it’s also not automatic. It just may be your body’s time to go to their natural size. You’re pretty much going to have to keep up the test for a couple of months. But the correct answer is, YES, they may change without pregnancy.
