Answer 13. Neworiental energy saving lamps are designed to work under ambient temperature from -10??C to 40??C. Our lamps are able to start and work at -10??C. When the ambient temperature is low, it takes a longer time for the lamp to reach 80% of optimum lumen output than at 25??C. Whenever an energy saving lamp is intended to use in outdoor, it should be installed in an enclosed fixture with water-proof feature, e.g. IP54.
