No. They are designed to produce between 0.02 ppm and 0.04 (max) ppm. This is within FDA and OSHA safety standards of 0.05 ppm. At this level, the ozone will be safe, effective, and pleasant, and may only be barely detectable. Ozone will not reach a point where it could be considered even a minor lung irritant until it reaches 0.1 to 0.2 ppm.
