An applicant may choose to partner with a private, nonprofit organization (such as EAST) with demonstrated experience in the application of educational technology in instruction to accomplish the program performance goals. Districts can support the implementation and/or expansion of a current EAST program through both the Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) Formula grants and the EETT Competitive grants. Each grant requires that a minimum of 25 percent of the funds be spent on high-quality professional development. Hardware, software, and infrastructure can also be purchased using grant funds.
