Can natural stone coverings of varying thickness / polygonal covering slabs be laid on AquaDrain® EK?

Yes. Coverings can be laid on AquaDrain® EK in two different ways. Cover slabs of even thickness can be laid on a previously smoothed and dried single grain mortar screed, with the appropriate thin/medium embedding mortar applied to the backs of the covering slabs. The second method is to lay them in the “fresh” drainage mortar after previously installing a suitable mortar bonding bridge (please obtain the required approval from the manufacturer in question) on the back of the covering.
