Can National Barn Company install an overhead door in my building?
Yes. National Barn Company can provide a Roll-Up Door and are limited to 10′ or 12′ wide and 8′, 10′ or 12′ tall. These doors require a minimum of 24″ of clearance. National Barn Company does not install overhead doors, but they will prepare the opening for an overhead door. A metal trim is installed around the opening. The customer can contact a local overhead door company to install a door. Most overhead doors will require approximately 24″ of clearance for overhead track. Example: If you order a 10′ tall building, then the maximum door height that you can use is 8′. The customer will need to check with their overhead door company and verify the size of the opening that they will require. This information must be given to National Barn Company before construction begins. If you are going to pour a concrete slab inside the building it is important to remember that the thickness of the slab will affect the door clearance.
