Can Nansulate® be applied to brick?
Yes, Nansulate® HomeProtect Clear Coat can be used on brick homes. You can find a photo sheet which shows the coating over a brick surface here: http://www.nansulate.com/pdf/app_nonmetal.pdf. Nansulate® works by inhibiting the transfer of heat, so in in the winter it will help to keep the heat inside the home from transferring out, and in the summer it helps to keep the heat outside from transferring in. It does not act as a vapor barrier.
