Can my xbox 360 arcade play the old xbox games?
An xbox hard drive comes pre-installed with a program for backwards compatibility of xbox games. Once you install a hard drive there’s an official list on the xbox website that will let you know if your game is compatible with the 360. Not only do you need that program, but also once you put the game in for the first time your going to need to install a few updates so put an internet connection on it too. (install as many times as it tells you too…I don’t think you need a gold subscription to do this).
