Can my two male rabbits live together, pls read the rest first?

Hi, I work for a rabbit rescue based in North Yorkshire, and primarily we wouldn’t put two males together because it’s usually easier just to pair up rabbits of the opposite sex. However, two males that aren’t from the same litter can do very well together. I have a lionhead male who I was trying to bond with a female lionhead (they had lived together previously but after he had surgery for a hernia she started to attack him) after three months I wasn’t getting even close to keeping the in the same room together, then another foster bunny came along. I had no intention of keeping him and he was due to be rehomed, but one day he managed to jump the gate and got into my summerhouse where he met my lionhead Teddy. They were instant buddies from the start and have loved each other ever since and are very affectionate with one another. BUT they are neutered.
