Watchstanding is strongly discouraged after the school day, especially watches after 2200. Our experience shows that student performance in Fleet schools improves when Duty Section responsibilities don’t interfere with night study requirements. The following courses have particularly rigorous night study assignments: K-2G-0603 Cel Nav K-2G-2207 Nav/SR QM A-651-0019 BW/FW Chelant Basic A-651-0116 BW/FW Chelant Sup A-652-0188 WH BW/FW Test & Treat A-652-0189 Aux HT BW/FW Test & Treat K-130-1074 BAAR V-4C-0013 EKMS MNGR. In addition to the above, CNO has directed in NAVADMIN 006/04 , that personnel attending the Leadership Training Continuum (LTC) NAVLEAD courses will be fully engaged for the entire two weeks and shall be released from all duties and tasking at their respective commands. Daily outside reading and INTERNET usage is required with several hours of preparation necessary to begin the next training day.
