Can my small lizards eat hissing **** roaches?

If your small lizard appreciates insects, it should be able to take a hisser nymph without much trouble. Just make sure you’re not offering a food item that is too large for your lizard to swallow. I have been feeding my collection of lizards and frogs nothing but a variety of roaches, with the occasional mealworm of course, for the last couple of years. If you have an empty shelf in a warm room you could start your own colony of Blatta lateralis or Blaptica dubia roaches and never have to buy crickets again! They’re easy to care for and safer for your animals than crickets are.
