Can my sewer bill be based on the gallons of water used each month instead of the average gallons?

Customers may submit a written request to be billed on the actual gallons of water used (actual usage) in each billing cycle. This is a common request for customers that may have experienced a water leak or large water usage during the averaging period. Customers who continue water service when a residence is vacated for a long period of time may request this change also. Once an account has been revised to actual usage billing, the account cannot return to the average method of billing until a new averaging period has been completed. During the month of May, a new average will be available and will automatically be applied to the account to calculate the volume fee. Customers wishing to continue on actual usage billing must submit another written request at that time.
