I’m not familiar with your model of eMachines PC, but I do know that eMachines tends to put the least expensive parts in their PCs. How this translates come upgrade time is that your power supply may not be able to support better or more adapter cards (like the one you’re considering), it may not support more RAM, the BIOS may be quite old (meaning fewer current features), etc. The biggest thing I’d be worried about (besides the Power Supply issue deltabtry brought up), is whether your motherboard supports the AGP speed the card requires.
