Can my neighbors willow trees ruin our house, pipeline and pool?

Yes, yes, yes. Some people call willow trees giant weeds, because they end up growing out of control in their natural habitat and taking over the landscape around them. Their roots seek water and grow VERY far, and they’ll even break through foundations to get to a water source. Twenty-five feet is nothing for a weeping willow. My grandfather told me to never buy a house close to willow trees. Really the only place they belong is their natural habitat (I forget where it is exactly, but it’s in Eurasia) or by a water source far away from pools and foundations. As far as liability, I’m no lawyer, so I can’t really say if you have a case or not.
