Can my local councillors or local MP help?
You can approach them, but their knowledge will probably be minimal, and so best used as a last resort. However, it is good to make them aware of the issue, and that their consitutents are bothered by it. There are some examples of MPs who have been very helpful, for example Oliver Letwin is known to be `good’ on Military Helicopter nuisance, and Peter Lilley has been very helpful in the past. In rural areas a Parish Council might be a productive body to approach.
